Heat Seal Panels Linked to Better Efficiency
ASHVILLE, OH – Heat seal panels & links filter 100% of the air unlike their counterparts (cardboard framed pleats and throwaways). The heat seal link panel has an internal wire frame with polyester selvage on all sides and are joined together to ensure a positive seal without air bypass. Cardboard framed filters are typically not joined together allowing bypass between filters. Tests show panels have the ability to hold cubic inches of dust holding capacity, where the pleats only have square inches of surface area to hold dirt. Therefore, the panel will provide a longer service life.

Columbus Industries Unveils New Website
Ashville, OH- Columbus Industries, a recognized leader in filtration technology and innovation, unveiled its new website after several months of development. The site was jointly developed with Pedigo, Passen & Associates, a long time advertising partner of the filtration organization.
“We need our website to demonstrate the diverse capabilities of Columbus Industries, and the previous attempt was not getting that done,” says Jeff Taddeo, the Marketing Manager from Columbus Industries. He adds, “Our goal is to educate current and potential customers, to show that CI can offer solutions for any filtration need, and the new website offers a chance for them to see the breadth of our product offering. We not only supply paint filtration, but also provide filtration solutions for market leaders in air purification, floor care, kitchen ventilation, HVAC and many other industries. We want to make sure people realize that fact.”
The new website will be the first step for Columbus Industries, as the company will focus new efforts to increase its exposure.

Onsite Lab Testing
Columbus Industries Laboratory Testing Facility
Columbus Industries, a leader in paint overspray collection, is committed to supporting its Distribution Partners, including the value added service of a “No Charge” laboratory testing facility. The primary function of the laboratory is to provide Efficiency and Holding Capacity data for ASHRAE Dust (Standard 52.1), liquid and powder coatings. Additionally, the laboratory performs various physical testing at the request of its partners.
“We encourage those involved in overspray to test our products with their actual coatings. There are many misleading statistics out there regarding overspray performance, and our lab will hopefully provide truthful, accurate performance data,” says Dane Wiese, Regional Sales Manager. “We’ll actually prove that our products are better than what is currently available, and if it’s not, we’ll tell the user,” added Wiese.
Columbus Industries feels its internal testing facility provides accurate results relevant to the users, which will facilitate planning and future cost expenditures for those involved in liquid and powder coatings.
